WOW.

Marvin Bagley has committed to Duke. Duke is stacked with talent now.

Bagley, Trevon Duval, Wendell Carter, Marques Bolden, and then the return of Grayson Allen and Amile Jefferson round out the top-flight talent on this Duke roster. I’m most excited to see the action they can run with Duval and Bagley on PNR. Bagley can shoot it a bit and can hit off PNP with Duval working on his passing that way and converting those passes into assists. This also minimizes the amount of shots Duval has to take, as his shot is still quite an ugly one…

But with Bagley, they get the best prospect in the class, easily, and I think he can raise the game of everyone around him. The only one possibly getting a raw end of the deal is Wendell Carter who will get his minutes cut because of Bagley. They should be an amazing pair together when paired with Carter at the 4 and Bagley at the 5. Bagley can work on his outside shot and let Carter crash the glass and help on weakside drives to the rim, two areas in which he is very good in.

Bagley is an amazing get for Coach K and their staff at Duke. I hope they utilize him at the 5 most of the time, to kill opposing bigs and stretch the floor on the offensive side.

We will see if all this talent can get them to the Final Four or if it is all the same as the past few years with early exits in the first round.

Bagley is the real deal.
