Hey guys,
I’m Kyle Rinker and I’m the creator of Bridge City Basketball. I’m going to start churning out at least an article a week about basketball of some degree. I will mostly tweet and write, backing up the tweets with sound writing and analysis. I hope to begin a podcast in the next couple months, once some traffic starts from the tweets/writing.
A little bit about me, I’m a senior at Portland State University, will be graduating in the next year and a half with a Marketing degree. My ideal situation will be to continue to write during my free time, learn about the NBA business and hopefully one day work in the NBA in some capacity. But this, this is the start to that dream eventually.
I hope to spread some knowledge about the game, analyze the game and its intricacies. This will be writing that relies on data and stats but will combine that with the eye test and real life play style of players/coaches. I will hopefully run through the draft in the next week, because finding success in the NBA (winning championships) starts with scouting and the NBA draft process, something I love to do. In addition, Summer League is happening so I will run through some of my favorite players at Las Vegas.
